When I was invited to the Jimmy Choo 24:7 Stylemakers event at their Bleecker St. store, I was ecstatic! EC-STATIC. We’re talking about JIMMY CHOO!

Jimmy Choo recently launched its street style microsite, Choo 24:7, where Choo-lovers across the world, and I mean world, can upload their own photo as they don their favorite pair of Jimmy Choos to the site. Taking cues from the ever growing street-style blog communities, Choo 24:7 aims to showcase and celebrate their fans across the globe while providing a hub for fans to look for inspiration. I love the aesthetic of the site as it aggregates all the photos with timestamps and locations on each photo - truly shows you the world of Choo!

At the Stylemakers 24:7 event, we were able to try on any Jimmy Choos our little heart desired (given your size was available). You don’t have to ask me twice, I probably tried on 5 pairs! Snapped photos of my favorites - of course, all sparkly, feathers, crystal-encrusted and so forth.

Sadly, in real life, I don’t own a pair of Jimmy Choos (because after all, I am a twenty-something year old working my butt off) but I totally need to start a fund to buy my first pair of Jimmy Choos.

Hmm… Donate? #ChoosForChoi.

Have you visited Choo 24:7? Which pair do you love the most?

As if you couldn’t get enough of Jimmy Choo, here is his Autumn Winter 2012 advertising campaign shot by renowned photographer Terry Richardson.

Upon first look, you totally feel a Rock ‘n Roll vibe, edgy and eclectic.

Jimmy Choo’s Creative Directors, Sandra Choi and Simon Holloway wanted to portray just exactly that. They stated:

“We wanted to capture the innocent and glamorous spirit of the late 1960s, the joy of dressing up in eclectic Rock ‘n Roll style, of feeling cool and going out.”

With inspiration from the glamour of the late 1960s, stylist Camilla Nickerson styled both models Querelle Jansen and Jonas Kessler into a fictional rock ‘n roll couple on a night out on the town.

I am completely in love with DALIA and TEMPEST. Those fox feathered boots just screams boho radMeanwhile, you can never say no to anything shimmery AND strappy.

For behind the scenes look of the photoshoot, check out the vid. They shot in a vintage Rolls Royce Phantom V!!
